The indigo-dyed wool and slubby cotton are two different yarns that I combined to create the blue ground. I dyed these yarns in a vat I shared with a friend this past summer.
The flax/linen yarn was from my Flax-to-Linen project. This project is where I grew flax in my front yard, a block from the coastal waters of North Oregon. With a lot of help from my community, I processed the flax into spun linen yarn; this project is featured on my website.
The actual weaving measures 12" x 12". This weaving is mounted on a linen-covered frame, ready to hang.
