P. cyans woven tapestry is a magnified, cropped look into a sporeprint of Psilocybe cyanescens (Wavy Cap) mushroom.  This species grows in my coastal yard.  Each year, in the fall, these fungi pop out after the rain begins.  To my delight, and great respect, I admire them and sporeprint them for identification purposes.  The natural sporeprint is a dark violet hue. The weaving is true to color.
