P. cyans blue 2 is an archival print of the woven tapestry P. cyans.  P. Cyans is a magnified, cropped look into a sporeprint of Psilocybe cyanescens (Wavy Cap) mushroom.  This species grows in my coastal yard.  Each year, in the fall, these fungi pop out after the rain begins.  To my delight, and great respect, I admire them and sporeprint them for identification purposes.  The natural sporeprint is a dark violet hue. The original weaving is true to color.  For this archival print, I altered the hues to resemble indigo and flax hues.  
 
This archival print will only ever have 2 of its kind. Upon purchase, you will receive 1/2 or 2/2.  These prints were printed at Push Dot Studios with archival inks on archival paper.  These prints are unframed.
